Why you should go to music festivals

This weekend changed my life. Period.

I had the opportunity to listen to 15 artists share their story with me in a single weekend at a music Festival called "Hangout". I was blessed with the opportunity to go for absolutely free, all expenses paid, and no strings attached because I am fortunate to know some incredible people in my life that chose to let me be apart of their journey for a couple of days. I definitely wished I could have seen more shows but fortunately for me this will NOT be my last musical festival. I am hooked.

Weezer played an incedible show. They surprised the heck out of me with how good they were.

If you truly have a sincere passion for music, then you must venture in to more music festivals. I learned that the amount of music you get for the price is incredibly worth it. Most artists charge close to $100 for a concert ticket for the view I had. The general admission ticket that I had was close to $300 total. Here is a list of the artists I was able to see perform:

  1.  Mumford and Sons
  2. Weezer
  3. Jimmy Lumpkin and the Revival
  4. Coin
  5. The Head and the Heart
  6. Cobi
  7. Mutemath
  8. Matoma
  9. Young the Giant
  10. Dillon Francis
  11. Kungs
  12. Local Natives
  13. Strumbellas
  14. MGMT
  15. Tory Lanez

You do the math. Plus artists like, Chance the Rapper, Marshmello, Lil Yachty, Phoenix, Major Lazer, Band of Horses, A$AP Ferg, Lukas Graham, Shaggy, and a ton more artists that I was not able to see but you might have made time for.

These artists live their lives doing nothing but traveling and making music. That is my dream. The inspiration I received this weekend made my love and desire for making music my full time career even deeper than what it already was.

That will never stop. Music is everything to me.

There is so much more to share about my experience. If you would like to know about the ins and outs of my weekend, subscribe to my blog.
